Porcelain Crowns

A broken or decayed tooth can undermine your quality of life, causing pain, difficulty chewing, and speech problems.

A porcelain crown can restore your smile in a single appointment without a temporary crown, thanks to our in-office CEREC machine.

The Unbeatable Benefits of Dental Crowns A Versatile Treatment Option

Comprehensive Coverage

Because dental crowns cover the entire surface of the tooth above the gum line, they have multiple uses. Depending on your dental needs, dentists can use crowns to protect damaged teeth or conceal cosmetic imperfections.

Fast Treatment

Dr. Mark Tall is focused on getting you immediate results, so he has invested in a CEREC machine for his Idaho Falls office. This machine allows us to design and fabricate permanent crowns in a single appointment and eliminates the need for temporary crowns.

Beautiful Results

Our dental office uses the highest quality materials when creating crowns. Porcelain is an incredibly lifelike, stain-resistant material that closely mimics the appearance of natural teeth. When porcelain is used in dentistry, the results are natural-looking and long-lasting.

Enduring Results

Due to their superior strength and resilience, porcelain crowns are long-lasting and easy to maintain. In fact, with proper care, your dental crowns can last for 10 to 15 years.

No wonder this place has such great reviews. I made an appointment based solely on Google reviews. I just moved here and have some major dental issues going on, so I have been to numerous dentists. I can't express enough how truly impressed I was with my whole experience. The staff and the Dentist were so professional and kind. I watched how they interacted with other patients.... especially children, I was blown away how wonderful they were!!!

Learn What Crown Placement Looks Like...

The Dental Crown Procedure

During your consultation, our dentist will examine your teeth to determine if a dental crown is the best option for you. We will walk you through the process and answer any questions or concerns you may have.

If your tooth has extensive decay or an infection, a root canal must be performed before starting the crown process. Patients who are interested in implant-supported crowns will begin the implant process during this time.

Your dentist will reshape the tooth to the desired size to prepare it for your permanent crown.

Digital impressions are taken of your tooth and transferred to our CEREC machine. Our dentist will ensure the tooth is colored matched to surrounding teeth for a flawless finish.

The CEREC system mills the custom crown to your precise specifications from a block of porcelain. Patients can relax in our dental office and enjoy our amenities during this time.

After the permanent crown is ready, your dentist places it over your tooth to ensure it is a comfortable fit. He will make any necessary adjustments and bond the crown to the tooth - no temporary crown necessary.

What Is the Cost of Dental Crowns?

Here at Sandcreek Dental, we don't want cost to get in the way of the treatment you deserve. We're proud to offer CareCredit, a third-party financing company that splits treatment cost into monthly payments. CareCredit can provide low-interest and interest-free payment plans depending on your credit score. Our warm and friendly staff is happy to walk you through the process and answer any questions you may have.

The cost of dental crowns depends on several factors, such as which tooth is treated, and if any preparatory treatments such as a root canal or dental implants were performed. We are upfront about all our costs and can provide you with an estimate during your consultation with us. We accept most dental insurance plans and also accept payment by cash or credit card.

An Office Designed with You in Mind

We understand that going to the dentist can be nerve-wracking for many patients. If you've had a negative dental experience in the past or have a fear of the dentist, our office is designed with your comfort in mind. We strive to create a calm and relaxing environment and have various amenities such as beverages, snacks, warm blankets, and Pandora radio through our provided headphones. For patients who are anxious about their procedure, we offer oral conscious sedation to help you feel more at ease.
